My name is Laureline Zimmermann and I’m from Geneva, Switzerland. I moved to the U.S. at the age of 19 to experience university abroad. I pursued a Bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship and a Master’s in Education, both at Belmont University. Through my own experiences in student teaching in Williamson County as well as online courses taken by acquaintances, I have identified gaps and shortcomings in common approaches to language learning. With these in mind, I design French lessons that prioritize the grammatical concepts and vocabulary most frequently used in daily life. The goal of Français de Là is meaningful and accelerated learning of conversational French - all with an authentic French accent of course.
